Ilgın Gökaşar presented in International Symposium Series on Graduate Researches 2022

Ilgin Gokasar joins the team of experts in the Commissions for Autonomous Vehicles by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, General Directorate of National Technology

The commission aim is to develop a plan, with the cooperation of the academy, public and private sectors, enabling Level 4 autonomous vehicles to be utilized on open roads under the supervision of a security driver, and to begin testing processes. For this purpose, challenges in priority areas will be identified by the commission, and different countries will be identified. Solutions and legislative change proposals for these difficulties by examining the implementations will be developed.

Serdar Selamet presented at the Mechanics Institute Conference (EMI 2022) at John Hopkins University

Serdar Selamet attended Engineering Mechanics Institute Conference (EMI 2022) at John Hopkins University in Baltimore between the dates of May 31-June 3. He presented the work titled “ Post-Fire Stability and Performance of Tall Steel Buildings” and chaired the session in structural fire engineering.  

Zeynep Yıldırım served as an independent Expert to EC under call: HORIZON-RESILIENCE-01.

Zeynep Yıldırım served as an independent Expert evaluator for the project proposals submitted to European Commission- under call: HORIZON-RESILIENCE-01, Pillar 3 - Innovative Europe.
 
The IER phase of the evaluation started on 1st week of May and extended till 23rd May. Zeynep Yıldırım evaluated 7 project proposals with other Experts and attended the Consensus meetings in June through webex.
